A quick travel through Architecture. : Architecture.

Welcome to my blog! Now I'm gonna explain the reasons why I called my blog "a quick travel through architecture", first of all this is a blog made for a task in my university, second it's about my career (architecture), third it's called "a quick travel" because it's a very extensive topic, it has a lot of history on it and I'm going to do just a resume of the career I love. ♥

ARCHITECTURE.

Definition: It's the art and technique of designing, projecting and constructing buildings, public places and even monuments. It's considered one of the fine arts (Bellas Artes), the fine arts are: - Sculpture.

- Painting.

- Music.

- Literature.

- Dance.

- Poetry.

- Architecture.

- Eloquence.

Architects like Mies Van der Rohe, Le Cobusier, Frank Lloyd Wright, Louis Kahn and Alvar Aalto consider architecture one of the fine arts,here are two reasons why it's a form of art more than just a trade in which buildings are constructed just for boring business people and files.

- The meaning of architecture and task it's not only to reflect the construction and absorb a function, if the function is and outright of utility, comfort and practical elegance.

- Although the means of architecture may consist of walls, columns, floors, ceilings and other structural elements, it's purpose is to create meaningful spaces where human beings can develop all kinds of activities.
